Hooray! It’s official, I’m a Quickbooks Certified ProAdvisor.

It’s been a long time since I’ve taken a test. It’s probably been since I was in college, which seems like forever ago.

However, with becoming a bookkeeper, I knew that I had to get certified with the software. Quickbooks Online is the industry standard when it comes to bookkeeping software. Even if you don’t use Quickbooks, it’s likely that you have heard of it.

After a couple of weeks in just pockets of time (during my kids’ naptimes) of training, I reviewed and I passed the Quickbooks Online Certification!

So what does that mean? It means that I passed the Quickbooks exam showing that I know how to use the software and can start helping business owners use the software. While you don’t have to be Quickbooks certified to be a bookkeeper, being certified in the software doesn’t hurt.

Just another step forward in this journey to becoming a bookkeeper.

This post is another reminder to future self to see how far I have come.
